Over the past few months, we've witnessed some incredible moments of growth, both spiritually and communally. Our various ministries have been working tirelessly to meet the needs of our congregation and the wider community. From the youth group organizing service projects to the choir lifting our spirits with their beautiful music, there's always something happening at Christ Church Lancaster. Upcoming Events

• October 27th: Fall Festival - Join us for a day of fun, games, and community! There will be activities for all ages, including pumpkin painting, face painting, and a costume contest. Food and drinks will be provided.
• November 12th: Veteran’s Day Service - We will honor and celebrate our veterans with a special service. All are welcome to attend and show their appreciation for the brave men and women who have served our country.
• December 24th: Christmas Eve Service - Celebrate the joy of Christmas with our traditional Christmas Eve service. We will have carols, candlelight, and a special message of hope and love. Youth Ministry

Our youth ministry is thriving! We've had a busy few months with various activities and events designed to engage and inspire our young people. From weekly Bible studies to exciting outings and service projects, we are committed to providing a safe and supportive environment where young people can grow in their faith and develop meaningful relationships. Recently, the youth group organized a community clean-up day, where they spent the afternoon picking up litter and beautifying our local park. They also participated in a fundraising event to support a local homeless shelter. These activities not only help our young people develop a sense of responsibility and compassion but also allow them to see the impact they can have on the world around them. We are incredibly proud of their dedication and enthusiasm. Looking ahead, we have several exciting events planned, including a winter retreat and a mission trip. These opportunities will provide our young people with even more chances to grow in their faith, serve others, and build lasting friendships. Music Ministry

The Music Ministry at Christ Church Lancaster continues to enrich our worship services and uplift our spirits through the power of music. Our choir has been working hard to prepare a beautiful repertoire for the upcoming Christmas season, and we can't wait to share it with you. In addition to our traditional hymns and anthems, we also incorporate contemporary songs and instrumental pieces to create a diverse and engaging worship experience. Music plays a vital role in our church community, and we are grateful for the talented and dedicated individuals who contribute their time and talents to our Music Ministry. If you have a passion for music and would like to join our choir or play an instrument, we would love to hear from you. We welcome singers and instrumentalists of all ages and skill levels. Our Music Director can provide more information about auditions and rehearsals. We believe that music is a gift from God, and we are committed to using it to glorify Him and inspire others.

Outreach Ministry

Our Outreach Ministry remains dedicated to serving the needs of our local community and beyond. We partner with several local organizations to provide food, clothing, and other essential resources to those in need. This past month, we organized a food drive to support our local food bank, and we were overwhelmed by the generosity of our congregation. We collected hundreds of pounds of food, which will help feed families in our community who are struggling to make ends meet. We also continue to support our sister church in Haiti, providing financial assistance for their school and medical clinic. We believe that it is our responsibility to care for the less fortunate and to share God's love with the world. If you are interested in volunteering with our Outreach Ministry, we would love to have you. We have various opportunities available, including serving meals at the homeless shelter, tutoring children, and visiting the elderly.
